The role:

• Planning, preparing, and cooking balanced menus for morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea with management approval and within the centre's budget.
• Ensuring you are fully aware of and cater to the specific allergy & dietary requirements of all the children.
• Maintaining a consistently high standard of hygiene, health, and safety in the kitchen at all times.

• Previous experience in cooking for large groups of children aged 0-6 years (desirable)
• Hold or willing to obtain a Food Safety Supervision Skill Set Certificate
• Hold a Cert 3 or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (desirable)
• Experience in a home or commercial kitchen, is preferred
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Current WA Working with children check
