Randstad Digital has an urgent contract opportunity for an experienced Business Readiness Manager to join a major SAP Project for a well known client until March 30, 2026 with the likelihood of extending.
The core purpose of this role is to act as the critical bridge between the technical SAP project team and the business operations, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption during the system cutover.
The manager will develop and execute the end-to-end Business Readiness and Cutover Plans, covering all phases from pre-migration preparation to post-go-live stabilisation.
The ideal candidate will have extensive cutover and SAP experience, as well as familiarity with processes in the Energy sector.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with business teams at head office and on site to ensure everyone clearly understands what will change, what will remain the same, and how their daily operations will be impacted.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Business Readiness Plan and Cutover Plan, covering pre-migration preparation, change freeze protocols, and post-go-live recovery.
- Coordinate advance preparations for planned outages, ensuring contingency measures are in place to maintain 24/7 business continuity.
- Guide teams through the change freeze period, clarifying restrictions, expected impacts, and readiness activities required during this phase.
- Work with the Change Manager to establish clear communication channels and materials so employees know where to find support, escalation paths, and troubleshooting guidance during and after migration.
- Prepare teams for restarting operations, catching up on backlogs, and stabilizing processes once the system is live.
- Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders on readiness progress, risks, and mitigation strategies, ensuring alignment between technical cutover activities and business priorities.
