An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to play a pivotal role in managing and growing the NSW region for a leading supplier of light commercial vehicle rental, lease, set-up, and maintenance.
This company is a trusted supplier to the mining, oil and gas, and civil construction sectors, with a network of branches across WA, QLD, NSW & VIC.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Eastern Regional Manager , the BDM will be responsible for managing and maintaining the existing client base while aggressively pursuing new business growth within the mining and civil space.
Location & TravelThe position is focused on the NSW region and can be based out of the Rydalmere branch with regular travel to the Hunter Region.
Key Responsibilities
Your role will involve:
Development and execution of a regional sales plan to achieve short and long-term objectives for sales, profit, and market position.
Identifying and developing new business within the NSW region via prospecting, qualifying, selling, and closing deals.
Managing client relationships throughout all phases of the sales cycle.
Providing accurate and timely feedback on market conditions, customer, and project developments.
Providing accurate and timely reports as required
We are seeking a candidate who possesses:
Demonstrated experience in a business-to-business sales position.
Proven business development experience and strong sales results.
Experience working within the motor vehicle industry or an industrial services environment.
Effective communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Advanced report writing skills and a high level of proficiency in MS Office suite.
Essential:- A C class license to drive manual vehicles.
Advantageous: Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Commerce, Business, or a related discipline.
