Clique Logistics does things differently. They are completely carrier-independent, owning no transport assets, meaning their focus is purely on building unbiased, high-value freight management solutions that save clients time and money. They operate with genuine care, zero ego, and a commitment to always doing the right thing by their prospects and team.
Clique Logistics is looking for a genuine hunter to join their team as a Business Development Executive. This is not an account management role, and it's definitely not order-taking. You will own the new business sales cycle end-to-end from picking up the phone and sourcing your own leads to closing national accounts and driving your own success.
If cold outreach energises you, and you want full control over your pipeline and earning potential with an uncapped commission structure, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
- 100% End-to-End Prospecting: They don't use appointment setters. You will source your own leads and hit a minimum activity standard of 100 prospecting calls per week across LinkedIn, referrals, and CRM tools.
- Structured Discovery: Use the SPIN-based Discovery Meeting Framework to uncover the real, hidden internal costs of how prospects manage their freight.
- Commercial Solutioning: Build tailored commercial cases anchored to credible internal benchmarks, focusing on reducing freight costs, improving performance, and recovering margin leaks.
- Closing & Handover: Drive deals to dated next steps, negotiate within commercial guardrails, and execute clean handovers to our operations and account management teams once won.
- CRM Discipline: Maintain an accurate, up-to-date weighted pipeline within Pipedrive.
Skills & Experience
- 1-2+ years of experience in a freight, logistics, or fast-paced B2B sales role.
- A true hunter mindset—you love the thrill of cold outreach and building a pipeline from scratch.
- Stellar communication skills with the ability to build immediate trust with both operations managers and CFOs.
- Flexibility to travel interstate regularly to meet and win national accounts.
- A coachable, competitive, and self-managing work ethic.
- Carrier-side experience is preferred but not essential.
- Exposure to consultative or solution-selling methodologies.
- Familiarity with structured sales processes and modern CRMs.
Benefits
- Competitive salary package with exciting and achievable commission potential
- Very supportive, positive and flexible work culture
- Strong management support
- Genuine career development and growth opportunities
