Responsibilities:
- Engage with system business owners.
- Develop and maintain a backlog of business requirements.
- Document business requirements clearly in the form of high-level and detailed requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Develop UAT test plans and scripts, conduct testing, and support business users during UAT.
- Manage and mitigate risks and resolve issues regarding release quality and schedule.
- Analysis of previous documentation, understanding current state processes and working with the business to define and document potential options for future state.
Essential criteria
- 5+ years testing experience.
- Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency using tools such as Azure DevOps.
- Strong experience with bespoke .NET applications.
- Experience in developing testing strategies in collaboration with technology delivery teams and business teams.
- Proven experience working in an Agile team.
Desirable criteria
- Understanding of public sector ICT accountability and assurance frameworks.
- Familiarity with security and operational readiness requirements in government environments.
- Tertiary qualifications or industry recognised certification in Information Management or Computer Science (or a relevant discipline).
