The Role
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Building Surveyor to step into a pivotal role within the team. You will drive the success of various construction projects by managing building rules assessments, conducting critical site inspections, and ensuring flawless documentation from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities
Assessments & Approvals: Conduct thorough building rules assessments and issue timely approvals.
Portal Management: Efficiently lodge and manage applications via the PlanSA Portal.
Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate authority approvals, applications, and refer engineering matters to consulting structural engineers.
Inspections: Undertake comprehensive site inspections (including occasional interstate travel).
Reporting & Advice: Prepare professional compliance reports and provide confidential, expert advice to clients.
Administration: Maintain accurate client databases, project registrations, and rigorous record-keeping.
What You’ll Bring
Experience: Proven track record working as a Building Surveyor.
Compliance Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of building control and development approval legislation.
Accreditation: Active accreditation (or clear eligibility) through the Accredited Professionals Scheme.
Power Skills: Exceptional time management, sharp report-writing skills, and the ability to communicate seamlessly in a fast-paced environment.
Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and modern database management systems.
