As a key member of the finance team, you will be the backbone of financial accuracy for a variety of partners. Your daily responsibilities will include:
Transaction Management: Maintaining daily financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and complex bank reconciliations.
Payroll & File Management: Efficiently processing payroll and ensuring all documentation is organized and compliant.
Compliance & Standards: Ensuring all financial activities meet relevant Australian accounting standards and regulations.
Process Improvement: Collaborating with the wider team to identify and implement better financial procedures.
Customer Excellence: Providing high-level support and service to small business clients, acting as a trusted point of contact.
To be successful in this role, you will bring a blend of technical expertise and a "people-first" attitude:
Qualifications: A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Bookkeeping.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Bookkeeping role.
Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of accounting principles and industry best practices.
Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Work Style: A self-starter who can work independently while remaining a collaborative team player.
