About the Role
Randstad is seeking a skilled and reliable Welder / Fabricator to join our team for an ongoing, Monday-to-Friday position. This role is heavily focused on mild steel workshop fabrication. If you take pride in your workmanship, thrive in a busy workshop environment, and possess strong structural fabrication skills, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
High-quality MIG and Stick (MMAW) welding on mild steel.
Comprehensive structural and general steel fabrication.
Cutting, grinding, drilling, and preparing materials to precise specifications.
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised workshop environment.
What We Are Looking For
Qualification: Must hold a Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade / Fabrication) or equivalent. (Enforced requirement)
Proven experience in mild steel fabrication and welding (MIG & Stick).
Proficient with workshop machinery (grinders, bandsaws, drills, etc.).
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality finishes.
Excellent reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transport.
