About the role: Band 5 P&C- Talent Acquisition Officer
Location: VIC
Start Date: ASAP until June
Engagement Type: Labour hire
Contract Length: 3 months
Pay: $43 + super
Key Responsibilities
- Provide effective and efficient administrative and functional support and recommendations to the team and hiring officers, that aligns with the Department policies and processes
- Actively monitor the use and engagement of temporary employment services to ensure that it aligns with best practice market supply and demand trends. Provide regular information to management to assist with decision making
- Enact a positive experience through effective and consistent communication with internal and external stakeholders, assisting with queries and making recommendations across all recruitment activities
- Undertake data entry, analyse, monitor and provide report recommendations on operational and cost efficiencies to assist in achieving effective recruitment outcomes
- Monitor the performance of agencies to ensure compliance and alignment with the client’s robust service standards
- Ensure all engagements are adequately vetted and comply with legislation and internal standards for pre-employment compliance
- Ensure high value-adding partnerships and relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide advice and training on recruitment processes, systems and policies for all talent acquisition activities.
- Provide high-quality project and program support to the Talent Acquisition team
Key Capabilities & Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualification e.g. Degree or Diploma in Business or similar discipline or lesser formal qualification and substantial relevant experience
- Demonstrated skills and experience in establishing, maintaining and continually improving administrative processes and systems.
- Knowledge and ability to implement effective talent acquisition and temporary employment service methods and meet the organisation’s financial and contract management requirements
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to independently plan, coordinate, problem solve and priorities own work within a timely manner
- Knowledge of producing, analysing, interpreting reports and recommendations
