Randstad is currently working with a Queensland Government department to find an Azure Developer on an initial 6 month contract with potential of extension. This role is based in Brisbane CBD with WFH flexibility.

Client: Queensland Government Department
Location: Brisbane CBD
Pay Rate: $995.68 a day + super ($1,115.16 a day inclusive of super)

What You Will Do:

Provide thought leadership in the design and development of complex information systems and API co-existence across multiple agencies.
Coordinate, design, and build information sharing and integration solutions that adhere to strict security and legislative requirements.
Develop an ETL solution to pull data from external REST APIs and load it into SharePoint Online using the Microsoft technology stack.
Collaborate closely with enterprise architects, system integrators, and technical teams to support the management of departmental platforms.
Translate functional requirements into robust technical solution designs, including the creation of technical build guides and deployment artefacts.

What You Need to Apply for This Role:

Expertise in the Microsoft stack, specifically SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and Azure architecture (including APIM and Microservices).
Strong hands-on experience with Azure iPaaS, including Logic Apps, Service Bus, Storage, Queues, and Web APIs.
Proven ability to design and implement contemporary system integration strategies that maximise interoperability and re-use.
Technical proficiency in Azure DevOps for managing build and release pipelines, alongside experience debugging TCP/IP and HTTPS traffic.
High-level documentation and communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical delivery.
