This role focuses on developing and maintaining automation frameworks to ensure high-quality software delivery. You will be responsible for the design and execution of automated tests that provide consistent, valuable outcomes within an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
Test Execution: Design, create, and analyze manual and automated tests for both sprint-based tasks and regression suites.
Framework Development: Build and maintain step definitions and feature files using C#.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work within a squad to understand system requirements and collaborate with developers to resolve bugs.
Modern Tooling: Utilize and evaluate automation tools, with a focus on improving test design and execution efficiency.
Operational Support: Support production deployments and assist with troubleshooting production issues.
Documentation: Write clear, concise bug reports and maintain documentation for automation frameworks.
Core Performance Metrics
Coverage & Stability: Maintain high test coverage and monitor frequency of test failures to ensure suite stability.
Efficiency: Focus on reducing test execution time and the effort required for script maintenance.
Code Quality: Adhere to coding standards to ensure test scripts are maintainable and scalable.
Requirements
Experience: 3–5 years in automation testing (Junior to Mid-level).
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in C#, HTML, JavaScript, and SQL.
Automation Tools: Experience with Specflow, Selenium, Cucumber, Postman, or SOAP UI.
Preferred Skill: Playwright experience is highly desirable.
Testing Scope: Proven experience in both browser-based and API automation on large-scale projects.
Workflow: Solid understanding of JIRA, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development practices.
