About your new role
The position is accountable for the end-to-end resolution of complex, sensitive, and high-risk student matters. This includes conducting and leading National Student Ombudsman (NSO) investigations, managing remediation plans, and ensuring legal compliance regarding subpoenas and statutory information requests. Additionally, the role involves managing the office, leading the small team towards continuous process improvement
What you will need to exceed
... Assume accountability for the resolution of all complex and high-risk student cases.
Coordinate and lead the University's response to the National Student Ombudsman (NSO), encompassing investigations, case management, and negotiation of remediation.
Ensure legal compliance by investigating, collating, and preparing responses for subpoenas and statutory information requests.
Provide leadership, support, and quality assurance for team operations, focusing on continuous improvement and key reporting outcomes.
Deliver specialist, high-level advice on relevant policy, legislation, and regulation.
Establish and leverage strategic internal and external relationships to meet operational objectives.
Must have
