Pay: $65.00 - $73.00 per hour + Super

Role Overview
One of our Federal Government clients is looking to engage with prospective candidates who are skilled and experienced working in the Federal Government and looking for a new opportunity. As an experienced senior Program officer working at APS6 level, you will be self motivated and capable of bringing your talents to our client who values hard work and commitment.
Key Responsibilities:
... - Develop and maintain effective working relationship with internal and external stakeholders to achieve Section, Branch and Agency goals as part of the Commonwealth Government’s broader business, by anticipating and responding to stakeholder needs.
- Contribute to the Department’s clinical and operational project and program initiatives, from development, implementation and evaluation under the guidance of the Assistant Director.
- Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills, including the development and review of advice, input, briefings, papers, submissions, procurement and correspondence for use in both internal and external decision-making forums.
- Contribute to innovation and business improvements. This includes developing and maintaining processes aligned to Departmental and Department’s Policies and Procedures.
- Participate in program evaluation activities, contributing to project management activities that implement strategic directions and quality improvement recommendations, and provide feedback for ongoing development of clinical policies and procedures, as required.
- Apply the principles of cooperative and safe working practices consistent with APS Values and the Department’s mission, vision, approach and values.
- Demonstrate an understanding of mental health service operating environments.
- Well-developed process design and analyst skills including the ability to develop procedural and training resources.
