About the Role
As an APS6 Project Officer, you will be operating in a fast-paced and complex executive environment, you will lead the coordination of governance processes, provide well-researched advice, and take ownership of critical strategic priorities across the branch. This role requires high-level analytical capability to translate complex or sensitive information into clear, consistent messaging on behalf of senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Executive Leadership Support: Provide high-level corporate support to the Regional Manager and General Manager, ensuring executive deliverables and regional priorities are coordinated seamlessly.
- Quality Assurance & Executive Briefings: Lead the preparation, coordination, and quality assurance of complex executive briefings, Ministerial correspondence, and reporting lines.
- End-to-End Secretariat Leadership: Deliver complete, professional secretariat support for high-level governance forums and executive meetings, managing agenda design, version control, and action tracking to completion.
- Strategic Advice & Analysis: Synthesize complex data and multi-faceted information sources to provide timely, accurate, and well-researched advice to support executive decisions.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Influence: Confidently engage, collaborate, and negotiate with a broad range of stakeholders, including senior executives, to drive organizational priorities.
- Information Management & SharePoint Strategy: Oversee regional information architecture and records compliance, using SharePoint strategically to build/redesign pages and support wide-reaching communication and change initiatives.
- Risk & Performance Monitoring: Actively monitor and report on project deliverables, risks, and strategic outcomes across the division.

- You possess exceptional written communication skills, with a proven ability to translate highly sensitive or technical details into audience-appropriate messaging.
- You demonstrate sound judgment and a strong capability to interpret and practically apply legislation, policies, and governance frameworks.
- You are an exceptional relationship builder, capable of engaging, influencing, and collaborating with senior executives.
- Desirable Experience: experience managing senior executive committees and delivering end-to-end secretariat support within a complex corporate or public sector environment. Advanced experience using SharePoint to strategically structure information architecture and drive communication strategies is highly desirable.
