About the Opportunity
Randstad is seeking a skilled Instructional Designer/Training Facilitator to join a high-priority SaaS project team within the Federal Government. This role is focused on the development, revision, and delivery of user training for an Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS). Reporting to the Project Manager, you will ensure end-users are equipped with the knowledge needed for a successful system rollout.
Role Responsibilities
As a key member of the project team, your duties will include:
- Content Development: Creating and revising bespoke training materials, including 'how-to' guides, Quick Reference Guides (QRGs), and instructional videos.
- Training Delivery: Applying adult learning principles to deliver engaging online webinars and face-to-face workshops.
- Continuous Improvement: Reviewing and updating training processes based on end-user feedback and new product features.
- Collaboration: Working with Change Managers and L&D teams to manage training logistics and ensure alignment with organisational standards.
- Multimedia Creation: Performing basic image and video capture, editing, and publishing for training modules.
Key Selection Criteria
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Experience & Qualifications: A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and/or 3+ years of experience developing digital learning modules and delivering ICT systems training.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated skills in Articulate 360 (Storyline/Rise) and experience managing a Learning Management System (such as Acorn).
- Instructional Design: A proven track record of designing end-to-end training suites, including eLearning and webinars, specifically for ICT system rollouts.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to translate technical system requirements into user-friendly documentation.
- Knowledge: A basic understanding or experience using an EDRMS is highly regarded.
Management Skills: Strong project, problem-solving, and time management capabilities.
