On behalf of our Federal Government client, we are seeking reliable and professional APS4 Customer Service/Call Centre Officers to join a fast-paced team at the Campbell Park Offices. This is a dual-function role combining high-volume telephony with essential administrative support, ensuring the Australian public and internal stakeholders receive timely, accurate information.
This position functions within a structured call centre environment. To ensure consistent service delivery, the role involves adhering to a planned roster that includes timed shifts on the phone and scheduled breaks. This environment is perfect for individuals who thrive in a coordinated team schedule, value punctuality, and enjoy a fast-paced, predictable routine.
Customer Engagement: Respond to a high volume of enquiries via phone and email, providing clear and accurate information.
Administration: Manage shared inboxes, distribute notifications, and record all customer interactions with high attention to detail.
Data & Records Management: File and manage documents in strict accordance with requirements for classified and personal material.
Workflow Coordination: Track, manage, and report on the progress of tasks and projects while prioritising urgent requests.
Compliance: Work within relevant legislation and policies, including the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and WHS requirements.
Experience: Proven background in a relevant customer service or contact centre role.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex information simply.
Reliability: Exceptional time management skills and a commitment to punctuality within a structured roster.
Security: An active Baseline Security Clearance (or higher) is mandatory for this position.
