As a Project Engagement Advisor, you will act as the pivotal bridge between technical project specialists, senior executive stakeholders, and the community. You will provide high level strategic advice to Project Managers and spearhead communication strategies that protect and enhance corporate reputation.
Location: Townsville, QLD
Key responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing comprehensive community engagement and communication strategies for major infrastructure projects.
- Acting as the single point of contact for project delivery groups, consulting with diverse interest groups, and managing critical landholder relationships.
- Proactively identifying, managing, and mitigating risks and community issues to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Translating complex, technical project data into articulate, non-technical information for external and executive consumption.
About You
- Experience managing executive-level briefing material and high-stakes correspondence within a major infrastructure or highly regulated environment.
- A high-level understanding of media relations, corporate affairs, and regional operations to effectively manage public responses.
- Strong skills in community engagement practices, with the ability to provide well considered advice to regional management teams.
