Randstad is excited to be supporting our valued business partner, a leading public sector organisation to source an experienced Communications Advisor for a key assignment based in the North Coast region.
In this role, you will provide strategic communication advice, manage stakeholder and community engagement, and mitigate risks across high profile infrastructure projects.
Location: Sunshine Coast
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert guidance on communication strategies, risk assessments, and issues management related to large-scale infrastructure development.
Develop, implement, and manage targeted community engagement plans and public relations activities.
Build and sustain ongoing collaborative networks with project partners, contractors, community interest groups, and external clients.
Ensure all communication and media activities strictly adhere to relevant organisational policy, legislation, governance frameworks, and standards.

Required Experience & Skills:
Demonstrated experience in a strategic communication or community engagement role, specifically within infrastructure sectors.
Experience across high level correspondence, public relations, community engagement, and media management.
Proficiency in establishing and maintaining professional relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
A degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or Marketing.
