We are proactively identifying candidates for this critical position located centrally in Buderim, Sunshine Coast. This role is for a proactive Project Support Officer to join an Engineering Technology team. You will provide high-level administrative and operational support to the Management team, ensuring infrastructure projects are delivered with precision and compliance. Acting as a central hub for communication, you will report to the Principal Engineer and work across four key areas to enhance project delivery and asset data quality.
... - Act as the primary interface for monitoring and tracking team responses, ensuring priority items are addressed promptly.
- Assist in developing procurement documents for contractor roles and projects, ensuring timely processing and adherence to policy.
- Capture key operational information, update registers, and assist with reporting to help the team prioritise backlogs effectively.
- Perform data entry within asset systems (ROAR) to ensure high-quality information is assigned to infrastructure assets.
Skills to Bring to the Table
We are looking for a proactive and detail-focused candidate who can hit the ground running, ideally bringing:
- High-level competency in Microsoft 365, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A basic understanding of procurement and finance; experience within an infrastructure or engineering environment is a plus.
- The ability to maintain effective relationships between internal and external stakeholders.
- A professional approach to work with a focus on transparency, accountability, and quality results.
- A mindset that embraces new ideas and makes considered, ethical decisions within a project context.
