Randstad is recruiting for an experienced Workplace Health and Safety Admin. This part-time position is required to support day-to-day safety administration, records management, and compliance workflows. In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate incident registers, coordinating safety training, and utilising specialised systems to ensure all WHS data reporting meets strict organisational and legislative requirements.
This part-time AO3 position offers $51.12 per hour plus super for 23 hours per week, with flexibility to spread hours across 3–4 days. It is a temporary assignment starting ASAP until June 2027, with the possibility of extension.
Key responsibilities:
... - Deliver WHS advice and guidance to staff, ensuring high-quality customer service and stakeholder engagement.
- Provide comprehensive WHS administrative support, including records management, reporting, maintaining registers, and meeting processing deadlines.
- Maintain and administer incident reporting systems, ensuring high data integrity and escalating matters appropriately to senior WHS leadership.
- Support core WHS activities including coordinating safety training, managing safety resources, and assisting with incident and hazard investigations, audits, and inspections.
- Contribute to ongoing WHS compliance, continuous improvement initiatives, and research into relevant health and safety legislation.
Experience/Skills required:
- Demonstrated experience in Work Health and Safety, including supporting investigations and risk-based activities (audits, inspections, hazard management) would be highly regarded.
- Relevant WHS or related tertiary qualification and/or practical experience is highly desirable.
- Strong administration skills with proven experience in environments handling high-volume data integrity, safety record compliance, and time-sensitive processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required to effectively liaise, consult, and provide clear guidance to a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders regarding procedural requirements.
- Highly proficient in using a variety of softwares for accurate record management, incident tracking, and reporting.
