They are looking for hungry, trade-qualified fitters that want to join the business on a full-time, permanent basis on the Afternoon Shift.
What You'll Be Doing:
This is a hands-on, on-the-tools role where you will be integral to the site's success. Your responsibilities include:
- Preventative & Reactive Maintenance
- Fault Finding & Diagnostics
- Utilising the MEX CMMS system to log all completed work, drive the preventative maintenance program, and build foundations for predictive maintenance.
- Focused maintenance and troubleshooting on high-speed equipment, including Volumetric Filling machines and Case Packing machines.
- Proactively contributing to continuous improvement and reliability initiatives (e.g., MEX implementation).
The Ideal Candidate:
- CTIII in Engineering - Mechanical Trade Qualification
- Restricted electrical license highly desirable
- Proven experience in the food manufacturing industry (or related)
- Computer Skills
- Familiar with GMP Practices
- Ideal experience would be 3+ years' experience as a fitter/technician in the food, dairy, meat, or beverage industry.
- Possesses a safety-first mindset
What You'll Get in Return:
- Rate: $50 - $55 per hour plus 15% Shift Loading.
- Overtime: Circa 5 hours per week of overtime is typically available (not guaranteed).
- Shift: Afternoon Shift (typically 2/3 PM to 10/11 PM). No guaranteed weekend work, supporting a great work-life balance.
