Our client, who is a local council, is wanting an experienced administrative professional to be able to process critical backfill within their regulatory department on a short-term basis.
The Role
In this busy administrative position, you will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of infringement and expiation notices. Your primary focus will be ensuring accuracy and compliance within legislative requirements while supporting the broader department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing and issuing infringement and expiation notices.
- Utilising TechnologyOne (TechOne) for data entry, records management, and financial processing.
- Handling internal and external enquiries regarding notices with professionalism and empathy.
- Maintaining accurate electronic records in accordance with council protocols.
About You
To excel in this position, you will bring a strong background in local government and a practical working knowledge of the expiation process
Required Skills & Experience:
- Software Proficiency: Demonstrated experience using TechnologyOne is essential.
- Sector Experience: Previous experience working within a South Australian Local Government environment.
- Regulatory Knowledge: A solid understanding of the Expiations of Offences Act 1996 or similar regulatory frameworks.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Communication: Ability to handle sensitive queries with a calm and professional demeanor.
