The Opportunity
We are currently seeking motivated individuals with Level 2–3 administrative skill sets for several exciting opportunities within the Public Sector. These positions are ideal for professionals looking to establish or further their careers within Government departments.
Contract Type: Casual contracts.
Locations: Multiple vacancies across East Perth, Joondalup, Nedlands, and the Perth CBD.
Remuneration: $34.00 – $42.00 per hour + Superannuation.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidates will provide high-level administrative and business support, ensuring operational efficiency through the following duties:
Data Integrity: Transcribe, transfer, and perform high-volume data entry into electronic formats with meticulous accuracy.
Quality Assurance: Review data for discrepancies, verify integrity against source documents, and resolve missing information.
Information Management: Maintain robust filing systems and ensure the protection of confidential information in line with privacy protocols.
Stakeholder Engagement: Manage reception and telephone enquiries, ensuring professional screening and redirection of calls.
Process Adherence: Follow established procedures to meet work schedules and strict deadlines.
Cultural Competency: Engage with customers from diverse social, cultural, and vulnerable backgrounds in a sensitive and appropriate manner.
Selection Criteria
To be considered for these roles, you will demonstrate:
Technical Proficiency: Intermediate to advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite and strong alpha-numerical data entry capabilities.
Professionalism: A highly developed communication style and a professional telephone manner.
Customer Excellence: Proven ability to manage complex enquiries and complaints with a solution-focused approach.
Reliability: A strong work ethic, the ability to work unsupervised under pressure, and a proactive approach to team collaboration.
Experience: Previous administrative experience (open to all industry backgrounds) with a demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly.
