Are you an experienced finance professional looking for a part-time role?
We are proud to partner with one of our clients in the recruitment of a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Officer to join our dedicated finance team in Kingston on a part-time temporary basis. Working 18 hours per week, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our transactional accounting is accurate, processing invoices, and maintaining healthy debtor relationships.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, your daily duties will include:
Accounts Receivable: Managing the end-to-end AR process, including processing receipts, general ledger entries, and allocating payments in SAP.
Debtor Management: Conducting proactive debtor follow-ups, issuing invoicing, and generating monthly statements.
Customer Service: Responding to and resolving internal and external billing and customer queries with a professional approach.
Administration Support: Providing general office support when required, including answering phones, processing mail, and providing absence cover for Accounts Payable.
What You Will Bring to the Role
To be successful in this position, you will be a self-motivated team player who can work unsupervised and show initiative. We are looking for:
Proven AR Experience: Solid experience in a dedicated Accounts Receivable or Finance Assistant role, with a strong understanding of basic accounting principles and Australian tax law (GST).
Communication Skills: High-level oral and written communication skills with a strong, empathetic customer service focus.
Systems Savvy: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience using SAP or SAP Business One will be highly regarded.
Organisational Skills: The ability to plan your day-to-day workload, multitask, and maintain strict confidentiality.
Qualifications: A Certificate IV in Accounting/Bookkeeping (or similar) is desirable, but solid, practical experience is highly valued.
