Intro:
We are currently recruiting an Accounts Assistant for leading commercial organisation, they have a small finance team, based in Hampton.
It's a fast paced, driven and collaborative environment, working in the finance division, where the colleagues are engaged, aware, friendly and value encouraging ideas.
You will report to the Finance Manager.
Your responsibilities:
- Solely responsible for accounts payable tasks, invoicing, data entry of invoices, supplier queries, payment runs, variance analysis, discrepancies, etc.
- Responsible with the completion of the balance sheet and bank reconciliations on a weekly basis.
- Working closely with the team for budgeting, forecasting and month end reporting
- Preparation of Trial balance each month end.
- Undertake ad hoc projects / duties as required to support the team
What experience will you have:
- 2-3 year's experience in a similar or related role preferred
- Relevant Accounting / Finance qualifications, studying towards CA or CPA helpful
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to manage and build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Ability to use initiative and be proactive
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong work ethic, diligence, integrity
- Detail-oriented and meticulous
