We are seeking a proactive Account Manager to join a leading national provider of high-quality industrial pumping solutions, based in Perth, Western Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage an established territory and contribute directly to a well-established company's success.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Client Management: Nurture and expand relationships with existing key accounts across various industrial markets (e.g., resources, water, manufacturing).
- Sales Growth: Identify and secure new business opportunities, developing strategic plans to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Technical Consultation: Utilize your technical knowledge of industrial pumps (centrifugal, positive displacement, submersible, etc.) to provide effective solutions to client needs.
- Territory Planning: Effectively manage your sales territory and pipeline using CRM tools.
- Quoting & Tendering: Prepare detailed proposals, quotations, and tender submissions.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
What You Will Bring:
- Proven Sales Track Record: Minimum of 3+ years of successful Account Management experience, ideally within the industrial pump, fluid handling, or related mechanical equipment sector.
- Local Industry Knowledge: Existing relationships or a deep understanding of the Perth/Western Australian industrial landscape (mining, mineral processing, utilities) is essential.
- Communication & Negotiation: Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-Motivation: A high degree of self-sufficiency, motivation, and the ability to work independently to achieve ambitious goals.
