The Role
As an Account Manager, your primary mission is the dual-engine of retention and growth. You will act as the vital link between the business and its key clients, ensuring that service levels aren't just met, but exceeded. You'll spend about 50% of your time focused on deepening existing relationships and securing revenue, while 30% is dedicated to identifying new opportunities and implementing strategic pricing within your portfolio.
Your Key Responsibilities
Relationship Management: Maintain a regular face-to-face meeting schedule with all stakeholders and respond to escalated matters within a 24-hour window.
Strategic Growth: Identify and attain potential new business opportunities from your existing customer base and participate in national selling campaigns.
Operational Excellence: Liaise with internal staff and contractors to resolve customer issues quickly and ensure new business is integrated seamlessly into company systems.
Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of the curve by conducting competitor analysis and maintaining a deep understanding of the full suite of logistics products and services.
Administrative Integrity: Manage CRM data, complete sales reporting, and ensure all client contracts remain current.

You will report directly to the Sales and Customer Care Manager within a supportive "Customer" business group. This is a pivotal role where your ability to solve problems and grow accounts directly impacts the company’s future planning
