We don’t do boring factory builds here. Our workshop is flat-out turning stock 4WDs into proper touring rigs and capable 4wd's.
We are looking for a reliable, switched-on 4x4 Accessory Fitter to join the team full-time. If you take pride in your work, know your way around a toolbox, and want to spend your days building high-end setups instead of just churning through basic logbook servicing, you’ll fit right in.
In this role, you won't just be turning spanners; you’ll be responsible for installing high-quality, aftermarket gear to the highest standards. If you have a background in auto electrics, that is a huge advantage!
Key Responsibilities
You’ll be fitting a massive variety of aftermarket gear, including but not limited to:
Front-End Protection: Bull bars, brush bars, and rock sliders.
Recovery Gear: Winches, recovery points, and snorkels.
Suspension & GVM Upgrades: Lift kits, airbags, and heavy-duty suspension components.
12V Electrical Systems: Dual battery setups, DCDC chargers, solar panels, and electric brake controllers.
Lighting: LED light bars, driving lights, and camp/work lighting.
Touring & Canopy Fitouts: Roof racks, awnings, drawer systems, and fridge slides.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Proven experience fitting 4x4 accessories or working in a similar automotive mechanical/electrical environment.
Tools: You’ve got your own comprehensive hand tools (specialist tools provided).
Trade Qualification: An automotive trade qualification (Light Vehicle Mechanic or Auto Electrician) is highly regarded, but unqualified fitters with strong, proven experience are absolutely encouraged to apply.
Attention to Detail: You treat every vehicle as if it were your own. Clean wiring, straight bars, and zero rattles.
Problem Solver: Aftermarket gear doesn't always want to play nice. You need the ability to troubleshoot and find solutions on the fly.
Licence: A current, valid manual Driver’s Licence is essential.
Why Work With Us?
Great Culture: Work with a team of fellow off-road enthusiasts who actually love what they do.
Top-Tier Gear: Work with the best brands and latest tools in the industry.
Perks: Generous staff discounts on 4x4 gear for your own rig.
Clean Workshop: A modern, well-equipped, and safe working environment.
How to Apply
If you’re ready to take the next step in your career and work on awesome rigs every day, we want to hear from you!
At Randstad, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all. We actively encourage applications from any background.
