Key Responsibilities
... - Designing workforce model
- Strategic Workforce Planning: Develop and implement strategic workforce plans to align with the the Agency’s Corporate plan and broader reform directions.
- Workforce Capability Development: Design and oversee initiatives to enhance workforce skills, capabilities of the support needs assessment and navigation workforce.
- Change Management: Work in collaboration with Service Delivery Leadership Team and People and Culture (P&C) to design and implement change initiatives to drive the workforce transformation.
- Talent Acquisition and Retention: Work in collaboration with P&C to develop strategies for attracting, recruiting, and retaining a diverse and skilled support needs assessment and navigation workforce for the future, including models for staff transfers.
- Workforce Analytics: Utilise data and analytics to inform workforce planning and decision-making processes.
- Policy: Ensure coherent approaches to support needs assessment and navigation workforce policy consistent with the future design. This will include the development of industrial relations policies suitable to the future needs of the Agency and workforce.
- Stakeholder Co-design, Co- Production and Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including service providers, partners, and government agencies, to understand workforce needs and expectations.
- Innovation and Best Practices: Promote innovative practices and adopt best practices in workforce design and transformation.
- Leadership and Team Management: Provide leadership and direction to the workforce design and transformation team and work directly with the Reform Implementation area.
- Performance Management: Establish and monitor key accountability metrics to measure the effectiveness of workforce transformation initiatives.
- Budget Management: Develop the budget investment strategy for the future support needs assessment and navigation workforce Oversee budget allocation and ensure financial resources are effectively utilised for workforce initiatives.
- Leadership: Foster a positive and collaborative culture that supports continuous improvement and whole of agency engagement and ideas.
