If you are a NZ citizen and hold a current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand or the Midwifery Council, you are eligible for mutual recognition in Australia. This means you can transfer your credentials by applying for registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA). AHPRA processing times for NZ citizens generally takes 4-6 weeks.
Many of our support team have been through the AHPRA and relocation process themselves and can offer you guidance through lived experience.
