Join a leading financial software provider as a Technical XML Specialist. This is a rare 34-hour-a-week permanent role (finishing at 4:00 PM on Fridays) offering a full-time salary of $140k plus super and a fortnightly Work From Home allowance.
The Role You will take full ownership of a massive, critical XML infrastructure comprising over 300,000 lines of code. This role is perfect for a highly analytical professional who enjoys reverse engineering and solving complex logic puzzles within systems.
Your Responsibilities
Short Term: Drive essential XML updates to meet a hard-line June delivery deadline for accounting standards.
Medium Term: Audit and create a roadmap to improve, simplify, and document the current XML "recipe."
Long Term: Act as the lead guardian of the data structures, ensuring they are high-quality and easily maintainable.
Technical Requirements
High expertise in XML environments.
Ability to read and interrogate C# codebases to understand system behavior.
Strong logic skills (If/Then/Else) and familiarity with Excel-style formula syntax.
SQL experience is highly regarded.
