In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining our public open spaces, gardens, and natural areas to ensure they remain healthy and vibrant for our residents.
You will perform a variety of horticultural and landscaping tasks, ranging from turf management and plant propagation to general labouring and pest control.
Responsibilities:
- Horticulture & Landscaping: Carry out planting, weeding, mulching, pruning, and mowing.
- Maintenance: Monitor plant health and maintain irrigation systems.
- Site Care: Remove litter and debris to keep our parks pristine.
- Safety & Equipment: Operate machinery according to manufacturer recommendations and maintain a safe workspace in line with WH&S standards.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively within a high-performing team to deliver quality customer service.
What You'll Need:
... - Certificate II in Horticulture or equivalent relevant experience.
- White Card
- A current "C" class driver’s licence and an LR Licence.
Desirable extras: Experience with chainsaws, ride-on mowers, an AC/DC licence, or MR/HR licences will be highly regarded.
