Are you an Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) power user who thrives at the intersection of content operations and technical coordination? We are seeking an Website Specialist for a high-impact, 3-month contrac.. This role provides essential operational continuity for a dynamic digital platform team during a critical period of website performance "quick wins" and the preparation for a major platform migration RFP. If you can hit the ground running, manage a Jira board with precision, and act as the vital bridge between business stakeholders and developers, this is the perfect short-term challenge for you.
What You Will Do:- AEM Content Operations: Manage day-to-day authoring, editing, and publishing within AEM, including maintaining assets in the Digital Asset Manager (DAM).
- Developer Coordination: Act as a quasi-Business Analyst by translating business requirements into actionable Jira tickets and maintaining board hygiene to streamline developer workflows.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on performance optimisations, including running Lighthouse audits and capturing Core Web Vitals.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Methodically identify and resolve authoring or publishing issues, escalating complex bugs to developers with detailed, reproducible reports.
- RFP Support: Assist in documenting functional requirements and tracking vendor responses for a major upcoming platform migration project.
- AEM Expertise: At least 2 years of hands-on experience as an AEM content author or power user (please note: this is an authoring-side role, not a developer position).
- Agile Proficiency: Solid experience managing Jira boards, including ticket creation, status updates, and backlog management within an agile or kanban workflow.
- Bridging the Gap: A demonstrated ability to liaise between business and technical teams, ensuring deliverables align strictly with acceptance criteria.
- Performance Measurement: Practical experience using browser developer tools and Lighthouse to assess website performance and visual quality.
- Operational Caching Knowledge: Familiarity with clearing CDN and dispatcher caches (such as AWS CloudFront) following content deployments
