About the Role:
Join a leading transport team in Western Sydney! We are seeking two experienced and dedicated Transport Allocators to join our clients sites in Minchinbury and Kemps Creek. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for planning and optimization, we want to hear from you
Your duties will include:
Role 1: Minchinbury - Afternoon Shift (Major National Account)
- Highly competitive hourly rate of $50 per hour plus applicable penalties and shift loadings for afternoon work.
- This position is dedicated to managing transport operations for a leading national logistics provider within their modern facility. You will be instrumental in ensuring the successful afternoon dispatch for high-volume retail supply chain movements.
Role 2: Kemps Creek - Day Shift (Growing Internal Fleet)
- Competitive annual salary of $110,000 + Superannuation.
- This role is focused on managing the core transport operations for a rapidly growing internal fleet based at the Kemps Creek depot. You will lead the day-to-day planning for varied freight movements, supporting the expansion of their services across NSW.
- Efficiently allocate jobs to company drivers and subcontractors, focusing on optimizing routes, minimizing empty running, and meeting strict customer deadlines.
- Utilise our Transport Management System (TMS) and tracking software to plan routes, monitor driver progress, and make real-time adjustments as needed.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with drivers, providing instructions, resolving issues, and ensuring adherence to safety and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) protocols.
The Successful Applicant will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in a Transport Allocator, Scheduler, or Dispatch role, ideally within the Sydney logistics market.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to instruct drivers and manage demanding customer expectations effectively.
- A strong understanding of compliance, particularly Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements.
