Our client is a leading provider of transport maintenance services across Australia. Due to ongoing contracts being awarded, we are looking for Trade Assistants based in Newcastle.
These positions are suited to someone with previous Trade Assistant experience, but candidates with mechanical aptitude, a great attitude and willingness to learn will also be considered.
What’s Involved?
- Strip, assess and re assemble rolling stock components
- Equipment washing and prep
- Assisting Tradespeople with workshop duties
- Adhering to OHS policies and procedures
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience as a Trade Assistant highly regarded
- Mechanical aptitude
- Great attitude and willingness to learn
- Forklift ticket preferred
- Excellent references to support your application
- Able to work afternoon shift
What we can offer you:
- $39 - 40 / hour casual rate (day shift)
- $45 - $46 / hour (afternoon shift)
- Ongoing work
- Newcastle based
- Potential to transition to full time permanent
- Available ASAP
