Looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced workshop? We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Trade Assistant with a sharp eye for detail to join our team in Wacol.
The Role
Assemble & Test: Build products using technical drawings and hand tools.
Quality Control: Identify faulty parts and precisely document test results.
Maintenance: Disassemble, wash, and clean mechanical equipment.
Logistics: Operate the forklift (LF) to move stock and assist the warehouse.
Safety: Participate in weekly Tool Box talks and maintain a clean workspace.
What You Need
LF Ticket (Forklift) – Mandatory.
Mechanical Aptitude: Experience with small parts assembly and hand tools.
Experience: Previous TA roles are highly regarded.
Reliability: A proactive, "can-do" attitude and great communication.
Precision: High attention to detail for stamping and logging batch numbers.
