We are currently assisting a Financial service in the recruitment of a Test Lead who will oversee the end-to-end quality strategy for high-stakes integration projects, validating the "glue" between core banking systems, third-party APIs, and internal middleware. You will focus on technical precision, ensuring orchestration logic is sound and automated guardrails are robust enough for a regulated banking environment. This is a strategic role for a detail-obsessed leader who thrives in high-pressure environments where maintaining data integrity is paramount.

What You Will Do:

• Define and execute orchestration strategies for complex workflows where multiple systems fire in specific sequences.
• Direct the validation of data mapping between disparate systems to ensure output is perfectly interpreted by input.
• Design and implement automated testing frameworks for APIs (REST/SOAP), microservices, and message queues such as Kafka or MQ.
• Act as the technical bridge between Developers, Architects, and Business Analysts to mitigate risks early in the lifecycle.
• Ensure all testing activities meet stringent security and regulatory standards, including APRA and PCI-DSS compliance.

What You Need to Apply for This Role:

• At least 7 years of experience in Quality Engineering, with a minimum of 3 years in a Lead capacity.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• ISTQB Advanced Level certification (Test Manager or Test Analyst).
• Deep technical expertise in validating data encryption, truncation, and transformation across multiple layers.
• Proven ability to manage complex integration testing within highly regulated environments.
