Randstad are looking for a versatile Town Maintenance Team Member to join a local council and keep their area functional and looking its best. We're looking for a hands on "all-rounder" to tackle everything from heavy duty civil works—like road, kerb, and footpath repairs—to the upkeep of our parks, cemeteries, and street trees. You’ll be expected to safely operate machinery, handle "rapid response" tasks like graffiti removal and event setup, and work collaboratively to resolve community requests.

This position covers a diverse range of civil, arboriculture, and general maintenance tasks. You won't just be doing one job; you’ll be an essential "all-rounder" contributing to:
Civil Infrastructure: Construction and maintenance of roads, kerbs, gutters, footpaths, and storm water drainage.
Arboriculture: Pruning, planting, and maintaining our street and park trees using best-practice methods.
Open Spaces: Maintaining parks, ovals, cemeteries, and natural assets to ensure they remain pristine for the public.
Town Services: Handling "rapid response" tasks, including signage renewal, graffiti removal, event setup, and public bin collection.
What We’re Looking For
Licenses: A current HR or MR Truck License is essential.
Experience: Proven experience in civil labouring, landscaping, or general maintenance.
Attitude: A commitment to continuous improvement, safety, and working collaboratively in a team environment.
