Location: Cleveland, QLD
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Pay Rate: $65.00 – $80.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)
Work Type: Full-Time (36.25 hours per week)
What You’ll Do
As our Systems Accountant, you will lead the charge in maintaining and improving our corporate financial management systems. Your key responsibilities will include:
System Leadership: Lead the implementation and configuration of new or upgraded functionality to deliver innovative system capabilities.
Data Integrity & Controls: Manage month/year-end processes and design internal controls to ensure top-tier financial data quality.
Expert Support: Act as the primary contact for end-user queries, providing technical advice and resolving complex accounting data reconciliations.
Process Improvement: Continuously investigate and develop reporting functionality and system improvements to align with evolving business needs.
Governance: Maintain the chart of accounts and delegation of authority matrix to ensure ongoing system performance and security.
What You Bring
Tech Savvy: Substantial experience managing and administering financial systems, specifically TechnologyOne Financials.
Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex financial information for general audiences.
Project Experience: A proven track record in system implementations, system governance, and managing external vendor relationships.
Qualifications: Completion of (or progression towards) a degree in Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders across the entire organization.
