We are looking for a focused Storeperson to help us manage a small but busy site. Your main job is making sure our elevator installation teams have exactly what they need in their kits. Most of your day involves checking boxes and tracking parts, with about 10% of your time spent on the forklift helping with containers and moving stock in a tight space.
What you’ll be doing:
Organizing Parts: Opening up boxes, checking what’s inside against a list, and making sure nothing is missing.
Tech & Admin: Using a simple handheld system (Hilti) to log where parts are and what needs to be ordered.
Product Refurb: Checking returned items, cleaning them up, and putting them back into the right kits.
Forklift Work: Unloading containers and moving pallets within our 500sqm warehouse.
Early Starts: Kicking off at 7:00 AM sharp to get the day’s kits ready.
What we are looking for:
A "Steady Hand": Someone who is happy with a repetitive, organized routine and doesn't mind working in a smaller team/space.
Reliability: You are the type of person who is always there at 7:00 AM ready to go.
Forklift Ticket: You’re confident on the machine, even in small areas or containers.
Attention to Detail: You’ll notice if a specific bolt or tool is missing from a kit before it goes out.
Basic Computer Skills: If you can use a smartphone or an iPad, you can handle our tracking system!
Why this works:
It replaces "Mechanical Aptitude" with "Tinkering" and "Checking boxes."
It highlights the 7:00 AM start immediately to filter out unreliable candidates.
It makes the 500sqm space sound like a "tidy, specialized facility" rather than a cramped warehouse.
At Randstad, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all. We actively encourage applications from any background.
