Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for turning structural drawings into precise manufacturing plans? We are currently seeking an experienced Steel Reinforcement Scheduler for a permanent, full-time position based in Pinkenba.

This is a high-priority, ASAP start role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. If you have a background in Reo fabrication and a sharp eye for accuracy, we want to hear from you!

The Opportunity

In this pivotal role, you will be the bridge between engineering designs and the production floor. Your primary focus will be generating precise reinforcement schedules and bar bending lists to ensure seamless manufacturing and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret Drawings: Analyze construction and structural drawings to prepare detailed Bar Bending Schedules (BBS).
• Software Expertise: Use ASA and AutoCAD software to create accurate cut and bend lists.
• Compliance: Ensure all schedules align with Australian Standards, including AS/NZS 4671 and AS 3600.
• Coordination: Liaise with customers and site personnel to clarify specifications and manage delivery timelines.
• Optimization: Focus on material usage efficiency to reduce waste and optimize production.
• Record Management: Maintain meticulous records of revisions and production data for quality control.

What You Bring to the Table

We are looking for a proactive problem-solver who thrives under pressure and enjoys a collaborative factory-office environment.

• Experience: Ideally 2-3 years of steel scheduling experience within a cut & bend manufacturing setting.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of reinforcement products, codes, shapes, and fabrication processes.
• Education: A Certificate or Diploma in Engineering, Drafting, or Construction is highly regarded.
• Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with ASA and AutoCAD is essential.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional numerical accuracy and the ability to spot errors before they hit the floor.
