We are looking for senior, delivery-aligned Solution & Enterprise Architects. These critical roles provide comprehensive architectural oversight across three major workstreams: a Windows 11 Replacement Programme (enterprise corporate endpoints), an Engineering Workstation Stream (specialist environments), and a major cyber security uplift.

These positions focus on directing, assuring, and integrating vendor-led designs, resolving technical risks swiftly, and ensuring all solutions fit perfectly within a complex operational and security ecosystem.

These are pragmatic, delivery-driven leadership roles centred on vendor governance rather than long-range enterprise strategy or hands-on building, where success means getting designs accepted the first time for a smooth transition to business-as-usual (BAU) operations.

1) What You Will Do:

• Direct, assure, and integrate vendor-led designs, ensuring all solutions are entirely fit for the operational and security environment.
• Review, refine, and approve vendor-proposed SOE and endpoint architectures, clarifying key technical decisions across identity, security, printing, and device management.
• Confirm vendor-led engineering workstation and specialist build designs, embedding essential security, identity, and endpoint controls into the solutions.
• Coordinate and agree on application compatibility and remediation approaches between application owners, infrastructure teams, and external suppliers.
• Provide vital architectural oversight and input into rollout sequencing, deployment decisions, and technical documentation for delivery and BAU teams.

2) What You Need to Apply for This Role:

• Proven history of working in heavy IT/OT, Engineering, or Operational Technology led environments (energy, water, utilities, mining, or rail).
• Hands-on architecture experience operating within large-scale Windows enterprise endpoint environments.
• Proven experience governing, assuring, and challenging vendor-led SOE, EUC, or workstation solutions and third-party designs.
• Demonstrated experience operating successfully within regulated, asset-intensive, or safety-critical environments.
• Strong capability to collaborate closely and communicate trade-offs with programme managers, external vendors, cyber security, and operations teams.
• Credible domain expertise across endpoint lifecycle management, SOE design patterns, identity/device management, and specialist workstation environments.
