Site & Project Engineers | Major Road & Bridge Projects | Regional SA
Are you a Site or Project Engineer looking for a high-impact contract with a global leader? We are currently partnering with a Tier 1 Contractor to deliver essential infrastructure across Regional South Australia.
Our client holds the highest possible industry accreditations (R5/B4), specialising in complex freeway interchanges and major bridge structures. This is an opportunity to work on DIT (Department for Infrastructure and Transport) projects with a company that manages the entire project lifecycle, from asphalt production to long-term maintenance.
The Role:
We are seeking experienced engineers for an initial 6-month contract, with strong potential for extension. You will be responsible for the day-to-day technical management of civil and road works, ensuring projects are delivered to DIT specifications.
Contract Term: 6 months + extensions.
Rate: $60 - $75 per hour + superannuation (dependent on experience).
Roster: 11 days on, 3 days off.
Location: Various project sites across Regional South Australia.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Oversee site activities for major roadworks, earthworks and drainage.
Ensure all works comply with DIT standards and technical specifications.
Manage subcontractors and site labour to maintain the project schedule.
Conduct quality inspections and maintain accurate site records and reporting.
Promote a strict safety culture in line with Tier 1 requirements.
What You'll Need:
A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Proven experience as a Site or Project Engineer within the Australian civil construction sector.
Previous experience on DIT projects is highly regarded.
Solid understanding of road pavements, bulk earthworks, or bridge structures.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in regional environments.
A valid Australian Driver’s Licence and full working rights in Australia.
