Our client is a National Leader in Generator Hire and Fleet Services. Due to identifying a high growth area in the Hunter Region, we are looking for a Service Electrician to perform maintenance, set up and inspections of their fleet of Generators.
This role will see you working autonomously, with the technical support of a National business to set you up for success.
The successful candidate will take ownership of their Hunter region, working on everything from traditional diesel units to hybrid and solar-battery systems.

What's Involved?
... - Set up, inspections, maintenance and overhauls of Diesel Generators and other units on client sites
- Workshop maintenance of equipment
- Work with the coordinator to plan your jobs in advance
- Leave your home to go straight to the job, to maximise work life balance.
- Support clients in the Hunter Valley and sometimes greater NSW (occasional working away from home)
- Integrate Diesel Generators with Hybrid Power Systems
- Build rapport with the customer while providing expert technical advice.
What we’re looking for:
We are looking for a proactive technician who takes pride in their diagnostic skills and client service.
- Qualifications: Trade Qualified Electrician with a valid NSW Electrical Licence.
- Experience: 2+ years of specific Generator Service experience (HVAC knowledge is a bonus).
- Adaptability: A background in Service roles is highly regarded but not essential.
- Reliability: A clean manual driver’s licence and a self-motivated work ethic.
