Join a leading team as a Senior Security Engineer (Cloud/Infrastructure) where you will play a pivotal role in delivering major infrastructure and cloud initiatives. This 12-month assignment offers the unique opportunity to drive cloud innovation, optimise infrastructure, and provide advanced technical support across complex environments. You will be instrumental in ensuring the successful and timely delivery of project-funded outcomes while contributing to a culture of knowledge sharing and security excellence.
What You Will Do:
Deliver cloud solutions within Azure to support large-scale migration and modernisation projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and enhance cloud and infrastructure environments.
Provide technical expertise on security best practices, investigations, and the development of potential solutions.
Identify opportunities to rationalise and optimise security service delivery costs through design enhancements and automation.
Research emerging security technologies to provide high-level advice on improving resilience, performance, and security.
What You Need to Apply for This Role:
Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience within a Network Security Operations role.
Proven experience supporting and implementing Azure cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, GitHub Actions).
Proficiency in shell scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python, or APIs) combined with logical and algorithmic thinking.
Hands-on experience with security tools such as Infoblox, Zscaler, Cisco FirePower, or Palo Alto.
Extensive knowledge of Firewall, PKI, VPN, WAF, proxy services, DNS, and cloud-native security services.
