Are you a seasoned Engineer looking to influence the performance of massive utility networks? We are seeking a Senior Engineer to join a major infrastructure team in Fortitude Valley. You will lead technical strategies to ensure critical water and wastewater assets are optimized, safe, and cost-effective.
Key Focus Areas:
- Project & Master Planning: Support the development of Master Plans and manage project streams within the organization’s change management program.
- Network Optimisation: Ensure the operational performance of 9,500km water and 9,700km wastewater networks.
- Design & Validation: Develop engineering solutions and validation processes that conform to regulatory standards.
- Technical Leadership: Act independently to guide junior staff in engineering builds and technical operations support.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strategic relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience: 6–10 years of proven technical experience in operational, maintenance, or reliability engineering.
- Network Expertise: Previous experience with Water and Sewer Networks is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Hydraulic Modelling skills are preferred for this role.
- Education: Bachelor of Engineering and a current Driver’s License.
- Mindset: An action-oriented approach with the ability to achieve results under tough circumstances.
