As a Senior Electrician, you will be a key driver of site safety, quality, and operational efficiency. Reporting to the Electrical Engineering Maintenance Manager, you will lead a team of electricians and work alongside control technicians to service the site’s electrical needs, focusing on PLCs, controls, and safety systems.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Manage electrical maintenance resources and contractors, ensuring compliance with legal and SBA policies.
Operational Excellence: Lead site-wide improvements in electrical standards, PM systems, and safety innovations.
Technical Support: Provide timely resolution to maintenance problems and support quality improvement initiatives.
Financial Accountability: Assist in managing budgets and completing purchase orders for materials and parts to meet production needs.
Strategic Participation: Act as an engaged member of the Site Leadership Group, contributing to strategy formation and business growth.
Continuous Improvement: Drive productivity using Lean, DMAIC, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methodologies.

What You’ll Bring

Trade Qualified: An Electrical Trade background is essential.
Industry Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG, pharmaceutical, or relevant manufacturing environments.
Leadership Track Record: Proven experience leading a team and developing others for succession.
Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of engineering design, maintenance, installation, and statutory requirements.
Problem-Solving Skills: A hands-on approach to troubleshooting with a demonstrated ability to resolve complex quality and safety issues.
Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to present information to various levels of the organization.
