• Infrastructure & Pipeline Management: Oversee and optimise Azure infrastructure while designing secure CI/CD pipelines with embedded automated security controls.

• Security & Assurance: Lead threat and risk assessments (TRAs), conduct security scanning, and perform continuous monitoring to proactively prevent intrusions.

• Automation & IaC: Design and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, and KQL.

• Systems Integration: Provide specialist technical advice to support the integration of passenger information applications and real-time scheduling systems.

• Compliance & Governance: Ensure all cloud services, including Power Platform and Microsoft 365, align with strict government security standards and Zero Trust principles.

What You Need to Apply for This Role:

• Cloud Engineering Expertise: Between four to six years of experience in cloud engineering and security operations within a medium to large organisation.

• Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Azure DevOps, GitHub, Terraform, and containerisation tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Security & Monitoring Knowledge: Proven experience in managing security layers (identity, network, and data) and operating monitoring solutions like Grafana.

• Agile Collaboration: Experience working within the full software development life cycle (SDLC) using both Agile and traditional project management methods.

• Communication Skills: Highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills to effectively engage with technical teams and leadership stakeholders.
