Our client is seeking a Senior Advisor (Utilities) to play a pivotal role in managing and improving the systems that power our state's vital infrastructure. In this role, you will lead process improvements and data-driven initiatives to ensure the efficient funding and usage of electricity across extensive networks. This is a unique opportunity to combine your expertise in data analytics and process documentation to enhance transparency and operational safety for a critical public service.
What You Will Do:
- Document current processes and define target operating states in compliance with department standards.
- Develop and implement database and reporting capabilities to enable data-driven decision-making.
- Manage budget allocations and ensure accurate, timely reconciliation of electricity payments.
- Maintain accurate records of electricity assets and usage across infrastructure networks.
- Lead initiatives to streamline processes and enhance transparency in managing electricity supply charges.
What You Need to Apply for This Role:
- Demonstrated expertise in process improvement and documentation of complex operating states.
- Strong data analytics skills with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in ICT tools, specifically PowerPivot and Power BI.
- Experience in budget management and the financial reconciliation of utility or supply charges.
- Proven ability to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, such as electricity retailers.
