About the Role:
We are looking for a hands-on Health & Safety Advisor for a short-term contract in Murray Bridge. You will be the lead Safety Representative on-site, managing a small crew and ensuring all daily activities meet strict safety standards. There is a strong possibility of contract extensions based on future project tenders.
... What You’ll Be Doing:
Your main goal is to keep the site safe and compliant every day. Your tasks include:
- Being on-site daily to run inductions and manage safety systems
- Carrying out daily checks to ensure safety controls are working correctly
- Ensuring the project meets all DIT WHS specifications and "Minimum Construction Safety Expectations"
- Using Dashpivot to maintain daily records, incident reports, and safety inspections
- Keeping all records organised and ready for DIT audits at any time
- Instructing the crew and stopping work immediately if conditions are unsafe
What You’ll Need:
- Cert IV in WHS (mandatory)
- At least 3 years of experience in construction safety
- Proven experience meeting DIT WHS management plans and SWMS requirements (mandatory)
- Ability to lead a crew and provide clear compliance evidence to auditors
